Sorcha
Dental Hygienist
Sorcha is one of two dental hygienists in our team. She initially graduated as a dental nurse from Cork University Dental School and Hospital in 1998 where she was awarded Best All Round Nurse. She then returned to UCC to study dental hygiene. She joined Barrington Dental after graduation in 2000 and has worked with us as a dental hygienist since then. She completed post graduate training in extended duties in 2012.
Collette
Dental Hygienist.
Collette is a dental hygienist. She initially trained and worked as a dental nurse in the practice before returning to Cork University Dental School and Hospital to study as a dental hygienist, graduating with honours in 2003. She has worked as a Dental hygienist within the practice since then and has also completed post graduate training in extended duties in the Dublin Dental University Hospital.
Joan
Practice Manager
Joan is our practice manager and has been with the practice since the very beginning. She ensures the smooth running of the practice and provides the link between patients and the clinical staff. She will be happy to answer any queries and assist you in any way she can.
Mary
Account Manager/ Receptionist
Mary is our account manager and receptionist. She has worked in the practice since 2002 and can assist you with appointment scheduling, treatment timings and financial queries.
Susan
Dental Nurse
Originally in the restaurant business, Susan joined Barrington Dental in 2012 as a trainee dental nurse and graduated from Cork University Dental School and Hospital with a Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2015.
Claire
Senior Dental Nurse
Claire is our senior dental nurse. She has been with Barrington Dental for almost 15 years, having joined us in 2000. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2003 and spent a year after graduation in an orthodontic practice gaining further experience. She now works part time.
